Glancing over valid points

I get it.

I really do.

I've been working in politics for almost a year now and have seen the ups, downs, attacks, and defenses of both sides of the aisle during this presidential campaign.  However, I've also not seen the glancing over of valid character judgement on the scale I've seen in regards to Obama.

McCain is decidedly on his heels in this race so he certainly needs to go on the offense instead of being called Bush all the time.  That said, if one of the myriad of tax hikes or government socialism he will employ won't get to the people, obviously McCain will go after Obama's background.

The background that is mired with radical, divisive, dishonest CHARACTERS.  As much as people love the story of Obama, they like to glance over the likes of Ayers, Rezko, Raines, and Wright.  Like it or not, Obama was VERY involved with these guys.

"NOOOOO!!!!!  You're ruining my ObamaJesus story!!!!"

Bill Ayers WAS a domestic terrorist.  Obama and him DID work together.  Obama DID come out politically AT AYERS' home!!!!  Obviously, if you have very little connection with someone, you announce yourself to the public at their house....  Also, you don't run a few non-profits with a guy if you are just acquaintances.

Real-estate developer and broker Rezko has been convicted of wire and mail fraud, money laundering and bribery. Obama was elected in 1996 -- representing a district that included 11 of Rezko's 30 low-income housing projects; Rezko made donations to the campaign. In 2003, Obama announced he was running for the U.S. Senate, and Rezko -- a member of his campaign finance committee -- held a lavish fund-raiser June 27, 2003, at his Wilmette mansion. A few months after Obama became a U.S. senator, he and Rezko's wife, Rita, bought adjacent pieces of property from a doctor in Chicago's Kenwood neighborhood -- a deal that has dogged Obama the last two years. The doctor sold the mansion to Obama for $1.65 million -- $300,000 below the asking price. Eight months later -- in October 2006 -- Rezko was indicted on charges he solicited kickbacks from companies seeking state pension business under his friend Gov. Blagojevich. Federal prosecutors maintain that $10,000 from the alleged kickback scheme was donated to Obama's run for the U.S. Senate.

Former Chairman and CEO of Fannie Mae Franklin Raines was an adviser to Obama on mortgage and housing policy.  Raines, who retired from Fannie Mae four years ago, had "taken calls from Barack Obama's presidential campaign seeking his advice on mortgage and housing policy matters. It is still not entirely clear how involved these talks were, but the mere connection is enough to raise some suspicion on the matter.

Blogging the VP debate LIVE!

I'll be watching, will you?

A bit late...

Biden seems to not realize business is not evil.

Uh oh, Palin seems to know what she's talking about....

Debt mortgage that McCain supported... yes, she would have supported it.

Oh, it's complicated and Biden doesn't think we want to hear about it...

Hmmmm. sarah, not a great rebuke...

Same sex rights:

Ok, they both like gays and Palin kind of skirted "no" they won't support gay marriage with a overly long answer

Troop funding:

Actually Biden had a good answer....

Nuclear Iran vs. Unstable Pakistan:
Evidently Obama never said something he absolutely did with the precondidtions.
